Fundraising Skyrocketed- and THEN SHOCKING EVENT!

Today, we went to our first neighborhood to finish those houses and fundraising picked up significantly. Within 90 minutes, we managed to raise 55 dollars. However, as we were crossing the street, a dog bolted out of the bushes toward us! There was no owner or anyone present and it was getting dark outside. We both stood still as the dog sniffed us and walked back and forth towards us. It was definitely scary!

It was also bitterly cold, a harsh warning that North Carolina is tuning into the Winter. Our fundraisers may have to slow down for the next few months, so we planned a few other online charity events now that we are more established.

We ended our door to door early and ran back to the car. There was no picture either, as we were in a hurry to get out of the neighborhood.

We will probably continue this neighborhood in the daytime tomorrow. Our count for door to door hours is cumulating to 25+!
